Why are Nigeria politicians Power-Mongers? It has become an habit in Nigeria that if you are benefiting from any political dispensation, then nobody can do it better again, Why? They play politics to the extent of maiming and killing each other. In fact , they play politics with the future of the Children including unborn just because of their current benefit.
Imagine them opening their mouth and playing politics with War Threatening word as if War is a good thing.
The word "UNGOVERNABLE" now exists in their dictionary ever since
one Political aspirant used that word in 2011 which later came to pass and the source of Terrorism has not been traceable up till now, Boko haram bombing is still existing till today and many innocent souls has been lost since then. Why would anybody want a peaceful country to be ungovernable because they are not in power.
Nigerian politicians because of their self-interest are tribalistic, is it about the tribe or about who can run it better
I got this excerpt from "NationalMirror" during an interview with Ben Nanaghan one of the supporters of Pres Goodluck. here is what he has to say,
If Jonathan is unable to get the PDP presidential ticket in 2015, what will be the reaction of the Ijaws and the Niger Delta?
It will be very unlikely for the President to lose in the primaries of his own party. You remember that the entire North rallied to edge him out of the PDP primaries of January, 2011.
Their Northern candidate was disgracefully trashed by Jonathan. History will repeat itself if they attempt that in 2015. If however he is not nominated to run because of political abracadabra due to his minority origin, the Niger Delta militants will have no choice than to make Nigeria unimaginably ungovernable for the North, which has made Nigeria ungovernable for President Jonathan."
But one thing is certain like the Yoruba Adage which says" (Orun n yabo kii se oro enikan) i.e The world is coming to an end is not a one man Problem"
