Nigerian Soldiers captured Boko Haram members in Taraba State

The Nigerian military on Wednesday said a suspected terrorist arrested at Gindin Dorowa, Wukari in Taraba State, confessed to being a member of the dreaded Boko Haram group.
The Director, Defence Information, Chris Olukolade, in a statement said the suspect confessed to being involved in terrorism in Borno State and was recently posted to Wukari to further his mission.
Mr. Olukolade said the suspect was arrested alongside many others operating under the guise of herdsmen from a camp in Gidin Dorowa, a suburb of Wukari.
He said some of the terrorists died after an attack on a military check point.
Mr. Olukolade said that other members of the group were sighted during air surveillance and later trailed to their camp where they engaged the troops in a battle.

The members, he said, were clad in the usual dress pattern of dress of their counterparts operating in Borno and Yobe States.
He said that the curfew imposed on Wukari and its environs is expected to be relaxed as normalcy returns to the town while troops have maintained patrol of the area and a house-to-house search for
arms is ongoing.
Dozens of people have been killed in violence in Wukari in the past one week.
Mr. Olukolade also said troops on patrol on Lake Chad Islands arrested a boat operator who ferries terrorists across the Lake Chad while another confessed to being a supplier of hard drugs to the terrorist groups in the area.
