IBADAN Poly Expels 6 Students For Cultism



The management of Ibadan polytechnic have expelled six of its students from the institution over their involvement in cult activities
According to the registrar, Mr Hezekiah Ayodele, who signed the statement on behalf of the management, the students had appeared before the students’ Disciplinary Committee and were found guilty of fraternizing with an illegal cult group called Buccaneer, with attendant engagement in activities that endangered the life of staff and students of the institution.
The affected students are;
Adigun Olawale,
Oluwatimilehin Samson Gbenga,
Olosunde Paul,
Oladosu Adams Layinka,
Olayiwola Bariyu, (all in ND ll, department of Accountancy)
and Gobe Martins O, (Diploma ll student department of Surveying and Geo-Infomatics)
The institution has called on the parents and the public to note that the aforementioned students have no academic relationship with the school.
