More than 200 killed in Jos Twin Bomb Explosion

Another twin bombs were set off in Jos this afternoon..The explosion occurred at the Jos Main Market,behind Ahmadu Bello Way.It's a densely populated area and the commercial hub of the city..The first explosion is said to have gone off  at about 2:30 pm,in a Siena space bus with number plate,Plateau XB 146 BLD.
The second blast went off 30 minutes later,killing many more who rushed to the scene of the first bomb to rescue victims. An eyewitness who was shopping says

.. people are running, cars smashing into each other ,and bodies flying...and the whole roads are blocked as some abandoned their cars and ran..

Police commissioner Chris Olakpe said as at now,46 people were killed and 45 others injured .But the state government says they are not in a hurry to release casualty figures as they are still collating numbers from hospitals ...According to eyewitnesses, the number of casualties exceeds 200 as against an official figure because the market was densely populated..
