A terrible bomb blast has hit a crowded commercial area in Damaturu, the capital city of Yobe state.
According to Premium Times, dozens are dead and many are injured.
A witness said the blast, which occurred at about 11a.m., left many dismembered human parts littering the scene.
A resident of Damaturu, Abdulmalik Audu, said the incident occurred behind the main Damaturu
motor park where there are commercial shops and stalls.
Details of the casualties and cause of the blast could not be ascertained immediately.
