Boko Haram kills 16 people abducts 10 Chinese and 5 policemen in Borno

boko2-111Boko Haram terror, at the weekend, raged in Borno State where 16 persons were feared killed in a fresh attack.
In  two other attacks, five policemen were reportedly abducted with their armoured personnel carrier (APC) while a Chinese was killed and 10 others kidnapped during an overnight attack in Kuseri Village between Gamboru Ngala  council and Cameroun.

attacks put President Goodluck Jonathan and his counterparts from Nigeria’s neighbouring countries meeting in Paris, France, yesterday, under pressure to come up with concrete  steps to address  terrorism in the sub region.
The missing/abducted policemen were identified by sources as Inspector Luka Maina, Sergeant Manya Chaka, Corporals Hassan Dauda, Emmanuel Onoche and Umar Ali.
Our correspondent gathered that the Banki incident took place on Friday at about 9:50 in the morning when some policemen attached to Banki Division were attacked by  terrorists while  trying to drop six of them at the junction road who were to proceed to their promotion course examination and interview.

Arsenal Open a new Book wins First Trophy in 9yrs @#FACUP

Embedded image permalink
A very big congrats to all the sport lovers and most especially #THEGUNNERS and not to forget all my sport betters,
Arsenal came from 2-0 down to win a dramatic FA Cup final 3-2 against Hull City with a goal from Aaron Ramsey in extra-time to end their nine-year wait for a trophy. Hull had earlier stunned the Gunners at a sun-baked Wembley as they went 2-0 up inside eight minutes through James Chester and captain Curtis Davies, who both capitalised on some poor defending from balls into the penalty area.
Arsenal, though, rallied and reduced the deficit through a superb 30-yard free-kick from Santi Cazorla. After several Arsenal penalty claims, notably a pull by Tom Huddlestone on Olivier Giroud, were turned down by referee Lee Probert, the equaliser eventually came on 71 minutes when Laurent Koscielny knocked the ball into the net from a corner before being clattered by Allan McGregor.
The Hull goalkeeper saved well from Giroud as the match went into extra-time when the France forward Giroud crashed a header against the crossbar. However, it was left to Ramsey - who left Wembley in tears as a schoolboy following defeat with Cardiff in the 2008 final against Portsmouth - to complete a remarkable

President Jonathan Cancels visit to Chibok

President Goodluck Jonathan has called off a visit to the town where more than 200 schoolgirls were abducted, officials say.
Sources had told the BBC he would stop in Chibok, in the north-east, on his way to a conference in France on the threat from Boko Haram militants.
But the visit was called off for security reasons, the officials said.
The president – under pressure over his government’s failure to rescue the girls – will fly direct to Paris.
The BBC’s Gabriel Gatehouse in Nigeria says the cancellation of this visit underlines just how fragile the security situation is in the north-east.

This life is all about Ups and Downs, sometimes you enjoyed it and sometimes the other side, but am sure the good and bad side of life is actually an act of God. He always wants us to know that things cannot be perfect all the time just for us to be able to identify God's existence.

I would send US Troops without the permission of Goodluck Jonathan-Says McCain

In an interview with The Daily Beast, The American Senator, John McCain disrespected President Jonathan when he said American forces should #BringBackOurGirls—even if the Nigerian government says no.
According to him, if he were the American president, he would already be doing several things to respond to the kidnapping of the over 200 girls by the Nigerian terrorist group that the Obama administration has so far declined to do.
McCain told The Daily Beast Tuesday:

“If they knew where they were, I certainly would send in U.S. troops to rescue them, in a New York minute I would, without permission of the host country. I wouldn’t be waiting
for some kind of permission from some guy named Goodluck Jonathan,” he added, referring to the president of Nigeria.

A 13-year-old Junior Secondary II student of Government Secondary School Gboko, Dooyum Moar, and another female student of Gboko High School, narrowly escaped being beheaded by a ritualist after they were kidnapped by a commercial vehicle operator in Makurdi.

He said: “I had put him in the commercial vehicle which had other passengers and was heading to Gboko, a trip that was less than 80 kilometres from Makurdi.
“I gathered from my son that when they were less than five kilometres to Gboko town, at Yandev, the driver said his vehicle developed a fault.

END OF THE ROAD as Civilian kills over 200 Boko Haram Members in Borno

I have said it times without number that not until Nigerian begin to reshape their destiny themselves, nobody is going to make it better, virtually all the arms of government has been compromised to the extent that we couldn't benefit anything as a citizens.
Article written by Dr. Peregrino Brimah for ENDS.ng

The rise of the civilians against terror took the Boko Haram saga to a new turn in the early hours of Tuesday morning when citizens of Rann, headquarters of Kala-Balge local government area, Borno northeast, who had fore-knowledge of an impending Boko Haram attack, decided not to remain sitting ducks but prepared for battle.
According to reports we received from Civilian sources in Borno, over 400 Boko Haram terrorists stormed Rann and neighboring villages in the early hours of Tuesday, with their usual convoy of hilux trucks, motorcycles and APC (Armored Personnel Carriers) only to meet villagers ready for them this time. The civilian villagers pounced on the terrorists with mere rocks, bows and arrows, local Dane guns, swords and “charms,” but as we have earlier reported, Boko Haram are more frightened of Civilian-JTF than they are of the Nigerian army, and run from the civilians even if they - the civilians only have knives

The battle raged till the sun came up and ended with the civilians killing over 200 Boko Haram terrorists, capturing several prisoners and recovering several of their vehicles.

He said instead of two million for the entire duration, UNAIDS should provide two million condoms each day for the 31-day tournament.
