UNILAG Admission into Pre-Degree Programme In French 2013/2014

Applications are invited from qualified candidates for admission into the Pre-Degree Programme in French for the 2013/2014 Session.

The Programme is designed for those who are interested in the study of French for a Bachelor of ArtsDegree in French at the University of Lagos. Successful candidates will proceed into the FoundationProgramme, which will lead to 200 Level Bachelor of Arts Degree in French, or may wish to sit the UTME(University Tertiary Matriculation Examinations) after the completion of the Programme. However, credits inat least 5 relevant subjects at one sitting are required to enrol in the Foundation.

The Programme duration and Period: Nine (9) months; from January 20 to September 30, 2014.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

For admission into this Programme, candidates are required to possess O/L credits in Mathematics, English Language, two Arts subjects and one more subject at not more than one sitting for registration.

METHOD OF APPLICATION:

The cost of application is N10, 000.00 + N 200.00 Bank Commission. Prospective applicants should obtain Application Forms at the WEMA BANK, UNILAG Branch. Account N°: 0841015213226.

The completed Forms should be submitted to the Room A519A/A520A, Faculty of Arts University of Lagos,Akoka. The closing date for submission of Forms is Thursday, January 9, 2014.

A selection examination will be conducted in English Language and Mathematics for all the applicants onFriday, January 10, 2014.

Venue: Room B402B, Faculty of Arts Building, University of Lagos, Akoka.

Time: 10 a.m.

Examination results will be released on Wednesday,  January 15, 2014.
