Rihanna stalker given restraining order

Rihanna
Rihanna has been granted a temporary restraining order against a man who allegedly broke into her Los Angeles home last month.
The 25-year-old Barbadian beauty’s Los Angeles home was allegedly invaded by Jonathan Whooper twice since the end of September, 2013.
Whooper was taken into custody after police officers identified him as the suspect who threw a chair through a glass door at the star’s Pacific Palisades home.
According to TMZ, a judge “issued a temporary restraining order against Whooper, ordering him to stay at least 100 yards away” from Rihanna’s residence after he was taken into custody on October 4, 2013.
TMZ reports that Whooper caused mass destruction on Rihanna’s mansion before his arrest.
“Whooper made multiple trips to the home. During the incident on the 29th [of September], cops say he broke into the home, triggering the alarm,” the website writes.
“When he couldn’t disarm the system, he decided to leave… but not before breaking a glass patio table.”
Whooper returned just a few days later, but he was confronted by security before he could cause further damage, according to the website.
When questioned about why he was at Rihanna’s residence, Whooper supposedly told guards he was Rihanna’s “future husband”.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Rihanna claimed she was suffering “substantial emotional distress and concern for her personal safety” following the incidents.
Whooper has been charged with attempted burglary, vandalism, stalking, prowling and felony.
This is not the star’s first issue with stalkers. An overzealous fan was arrested on the roof of her Los Angeles house in June, 2013.
Last weekend, Rihanna took the world by storm on her ‘Diamonds’ world tour when she smashed a record in South Africa after performing a sell-out show to more than 67,000 people.
Rihanna living the life
You can call her ‘crazy’, but she is surely one of the most talented artistes in the world today. Robyn Rihanna Fenty, 25, known by her stage name Rihanna, and sometimes RiRi by her fans, is a Barbadian recording pop artist, actress, and fashion designer.
Born to Monica Braithwaite, a retired Afro-Guyanese accountant, and Ronald Fenty, a warehouse supervisor of Barbadian and Irish descent, Rihanna’s work has earned her numerous awards and accolades in her short career in music.
Rihanna, whose professional music career began at age 18 has had six Grammy Awards, five American Music Awards, 22 Billboard Music Awards, and two BRIT Awards. She has sold over 30 million albums and 120 million singles worldwide, which makes her one of the best-selling artistes of all time. Also, she has achieved twelve number one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, the youngest solo artistes to achieve the feat. Billboard named her the Digital Songs Artist of the 2000s decade, ranking her 17th overall. In 2013, Billboard ranked Rihanna the top Hot 100 artist of the 2010s decade. In 2012, Forbes ranked her the fourth most powerful celebrity of the year, with earnings of $53m (N8.48bn) between May 2011 and May 2012. The same year, TIME named Rihanna one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World.
But life has not always been rosy for the sexy singer; Rihanna grew up in a three-bedroom bungalow in Bridgetown and sold clothes with her father in a stall on the street. Rihanna’s childhood was deeply affected by her father’s addiction to crack cocaine, alcohol, and marijuana, and her parents’ turbulent marriage ended when she was 14.Since the discovery of Rihanna’s potential to be a big star by record producer, Evan Rogers, when a common friend introduced them to each other, her way to stardom has been totally impressive. With her appealing voice and effortless sexiness, Rihanna became an instant hit with her 2005 debut album, ‘Music of the Sun’.
In 2009, reports surfaced regarding an altercation between Rihanna and her then-boyfriend, singer Chris Brown, who was arrested on suspicion of making criminal threats. On March 5, 2009, Brown was charged with assault and making criminal threats. A leaked photograph from the Los Angeles Police Department obtained by TMZ.com, revealed that Rihanna had sustained visible injuries.
Rihanna was subpoenaed to testify during a preliminary hearing in Los Angeles on June 22, 2009 and Brown pleaded guilty to felony assault. Brown received five years probation and was ordered to stay fifty yards (48 metres) away from Rihanna, unless at public events, which then would be reduced to ten yards (nine metres). In February 2011, at the request of Brown’s lawyer and with Rihanna’s consent, Judge Patricia Schnegg modified the restraining order to a “level one order,” which allows the singers to appear at awards shows together in the future. In a January 2013 interview with Rolling Stone, Rihanna confirmed that she had rekindled her relationship with Chris Brown, though he remained under probation for the 2009 domestic violence incident. The confirmation followed persistent media speculation throughout 2012 regarding the pair’s reunion. But by May, 2013 in an interview, Brown stated that he and Rihanna had broken up again.
Beyond Rihanna’s exceptional talent and skills, she is widely recognised for her sex appeal, even though, she revealed that being a sex symbol was not her priority. Her new song video, ‘Pour it up’ attracted various reviews, with some criticising the video for being overly explicit. Some of her fans have also branded the latest video ‘obscene’, ‘vile’ and ‘pornographic’.Rihanna’s sexy looks have landed her on the covers of magazines such as Maxim, FHM, Rolling Stone and GQ. She has appeared in the top ten on Maxim’s Hot 100 list and on FHM’s “100 Sexiest Women in the World” several times. She was named the Venus Breeze’s Celebrity Legs of a Goddess by Gillette in 2007 and Diva of the year by Entertainment Weekly in 2008. In 2009,Glamour ranked her at number 17 on the 50 Most Glamorous Women and Esquire named her the Sexiest Woman Alive of 2011.
Interestingly, Rihanna’s body is adorned by a collection of about 20 small tattoos, which include: a music note on her ankle; a pisces sign behind her right ear; a star in her left ear; the word “Love” on her left middle finger; the phrase “Freedom in Messiah” in Arabic on her ribcage; a trail of stars going down the back of her neck; the word “Shhh…” on her right index finger; the date ‘4.11.1986’ in roman numerals on top of her left shoulder; a handgun on her ribcage; the words “Thug Life” on her knuckles; a small cross on her collar bone; an Egyptian falcon shaped like a gun on her right foot; and a goddess Isis above her stomach.
