Chelsea midfielder, John Obi Mikel, has revealed that Manager Jose Mourinho instills fear in the dressing room in order to get the best out of the club’s star players.
Mikel said some of the new stars at Stamford Bridge, including Willian and Eden Hazard, had not fully understood the Chelsea ethos, but stressed that Mourinho did not expect anything less than the best.
“The manager always wants us to play in a certain way and give 110 per cent and if you don’t, you’re out,” the Super Eagles star said. “If you don’t defend and you don’t run, you don’t play.

That’s the mentality the manager wants instilled in this team. “It’s a matter of letting us know what it means when you come to the end of the season, what the Premier League and Champions League means to this club.
“That’s why we want to keep doing well and to avoid defeat as much as possible.”
