The turbaning ceremony of the former ousted CBN governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi (SLS) as the new Emir of Kano following the death of Ado Bayero took place yesterday, Monday June 09 2014 at the Emir's palace.
President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (GEJ) was one of the prominent personalities that congratulated him. GEJ was accustomed by top government functionaries and also shook hands with the new Emir, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi (SLS) putting on a smiling face.
