Nigeria’s Super Eagles have finally arrived in Brazil for the 2014 #WorldCup starting this Friday June 13th. The footballers traveled over 15 hours: One and a half hours to Miami, 9 hours to Sao Paolo and a two-hour bus ride to their hotel. The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) had said in a statement that the team would fly aboard an American Airline flight from the Miami International Airport and would land at the Guarulhos International Airport, Sao Paolo, Brazil 9pm local time.
The team is expected to move to their base, Hotel Campiness, on the outskirts of Sao Paolo Brazil.
They will also be training at the 40,988 capacity Estadio Brinco de Ouro de Princesa stadium located in the heart of the city of Campinas. Nigeria's first match is against Iran on Monday, 16th June, 2014.
